Epona Protector of Horses Hoody
Original design by Matt Greenway. The Goddess, Epona, seen naked on horseback, brandishing shield and spear. Emblazoned with stars and sun wheel. Epona is a protective goddess and was one of the few Celtic deities to be adopted by the Romans, she was particularly popular with cavalry riders before being brought inside the home of the common folk to protect the homestead. This design is based on a Gallic coin, dating back to the second century B.C.
